We’re a small community of entrepreneurs and purpose-driven organizations who believe an office can be more than a place to sit and work. It can be a place to meet collaborators, build relationships, exchange ideas, and get things done around good people.
With one desk still available, we’re calling in one more values-aligned entrepreneur, organization, or small business to join us.

Office Space
Desk #3 — $480/month
40% private office use, with additional access to conference and shared spaces.
The office includes 24/7 access. We’ll mutually agree on a schedule so each office mate has dedicated private-use days, while keeping flexibility for coworking, evenings, Fridays, and weekends.
These percentages and schedules are starting points, not fixed terms. We’re happy to find a rhythm that works for everyone and adjust as needs evolve.
Business Mailing Address + Storage
Use the office as a professional mailing address for your business or organization, giving your virtual or hybrid team a consistent physical home base in downtown Oakland.
A small amount of shared storage space is included for supplies, materials, or other work essentials. Need more? Additional storage can be arranged.
Furnishing
Desks and chairs are included.
For anything beyond that, we’ll furnish the space collaboratively:
Each party keeps ownership of furniture or equipment they bring.
For shared items everyone agrees on, costs are divided according to each party’s percentage of use.
Meeting & Conference Rooms
Need somewhere to meet with a client, collaborator, or team?
Oakstop has two meeting and conference spaces available beyond our private office at this location and then more at their 3 other locations, giving you room to host conversations without squeezing everyone around your desk.
Phone Booths
For calls and virtual meetings, private phone booths are available throughout the building.
Step away from the shared office, take your meeting, and come back when you’re done.
Event Space
Need more room for a workshop, gathering, presentation, or community event?
As an office mate, you’ll have discounted access to Oakstop’s larger event spaces, making it easier to bring your work and community together under the same roof.
Rooftop Lounge
Sometimes the best part of an office isn’t the office.
Oakstop includes a beautiful rooftop lounge with views over Oakland—a great place to take a break, have an informal conversation, or get a change of scenery during the workday.
CommuniTy & Coworking
This is more than a place to put your laptop.
Oakstop brings together entrepreneurs, creatives, organizers, and community builders. One of our office mates shared after just two weeks:

Embrace also coordinates monthly coworking sessions in Oakstop’s larger meeting rooms, which you and your collaborators are welcome to join.
